On the up side, installation was pretty easy, even though the smaller of the two hex keys supplied was the wrong size. A pair of small needle-nose pliers worked well enough. On the down side, it just doesn't work very well. There are three locking screws, two on the tail piece, and one on a floating clamp. None of them can be tightened enough to really lock the tremolo out. Alternate tunings are still a pain, and don't you dare look at that whammy bar cross-wise, or you'll be starting from scratch again. For $75, I expected something better |

| Easy Install, Works Great |

The install was very easy after reading over the instructions then following along with the video. After re-setting up my guitar and some slight adjustments to the Tremol-No it worked great, allowing full motion of my tremolo when unlocked and holding it solid when locked. I also liked the addition of an extra thumbscrew and the hex screws (in case you want to semi-permanently lock the Deep-C or the entire Tremol-No). All in all, a great upgrade on my trusty old axe. |

This was one of the simple jobs I like with results that are what the manufacturer said they would be. The back cover has to either be drilled to allow access to the knobs or left off. |

Works as advertised. Installation slightly more complicated than I imagined, nothing that cant be handled in an hour or so. Can't put the cover back over the cavity because the knobs stick out slightly, but you wouldn't want to anyway, you wouldn't be able to change the modes without taking it off. Pretty solid once installed. In fully locked mode I was able to shimmy it a bit with the vibrato arm but during realistic playing it holds firm. |
