These are way cool. I did manage to cram one in a Les Paul. I would not recommend anyone who is not skilled and prepared to buy a new guitar to try it though. I had to open part of the hole up and undercut the back opening to make it fit. I have been putting small mini toggle switches on LPs for 30 years. This was a bit different and slightly harder. I want the back cover to still be original so you need to really plan and think it out. It works well on SGs with little fuss at all. I was a big fan of the whole Neil Mosier thing with 6 toggle switches, extra knobs, rotary switches, preamps, varitones and all that stuff, so this is a welcome product! Switching on the fly takes some practice with this, but it is cool as hell to me. |
