The price keeps me from giving this more stars. The tone is a slight improvement over steel, but the main issue is how light these are. The speed of sound in titanium is maybe 5% faster than in steel. The modulus of elasticity also comes into play some too, but not a whole lot. If you have some light strong maple or basswood, or other light guitar and want to keep it that way as much as possible, go for it. Titanium machines with great difficulty hence the high price. I have used one so far and swapped it through a few guitars with USA Fender vintage style trems. The tone is a cross between steel and aluminum blocks but most like steel. I like the saddles for durability.
