I took this and drilled two holes trough the side of the thumb screw. I would have tried for 3 of the head was larger. Now I can stick a rod in like a spoke truss rod and crank it around. Anything with Floyd Rose's name on it is a pain in the butt to set up, keep in tune when I bend strings, etc. He licensed his name to some real junk. This won't quite work with the Schaller Floyd which is or was the best for many years. It will work with most of the licensed stuff and of course "Original Floyd Rose" (if you can find them) . Some of the Floyd style trems are just junk, or a good design with poor plating and other bad selections for materials, like cast aluminum parts with tuning screws in it. Wobble wobble. Anything that helps a little with a Floyd Rose is good.

Works on a few, but not most guitars |

I've found this tool to be slightly helpful on a few guitars I've used it on. I've tried it on probably dozens of them, but had a pretty small success rate.
The idea is sound, but it seems to be lacking a little. First of all, it is VERY difficult to turn the little wheel when string tension is applied. I found myself just pushing down or pulling up on the device to move the saddle forward or backward while setting intonation.
It got to be so annoying that this tool just sits in my drawer now. I almost never use it anymore.
A simple solution for the major issue it has would be put an allen head on it rather than a thumbwheel. It would at least be useful on the guitars it fits then.
