No alloy number spec listed, but good screws
I have a local supplier who has 3 or 4 alloy type Humbucker pole screws. No gold or black, but you can match these up with your magnet types, wire size and type to get very fine tuned tone. These are about like the cheaper alloys. They are fine, but a listing of the alloy type would be nice. There are also differing pole piece alloys for the slugs. As long as these stay the same. I say ''what the heck?'' You want super detailed spec magnet wire plain enamel, heavy enamel, Heavy Formvar, or half sizes like 42.5, or 43.5 in poly, and 1060 screws? You will pay more! I wind in 41 and 44 ga too as well as 39 for Varitone coils. I can also plate these as needed with 4 beakers plating solution, cleaning solution, rinse, and a DC power supply. Gold is not cheap! Nickel is not either, but gold is stupid expensive for plate, and I need a platinum grid to do the best job. These plate up nicely.
