Set of 2 vintage style tea cup knobs. Popular replacements for Hofner bass. Off-white bottoms with gold center. 22mm wide x 14mm tall. Fits standard US split shaft pots.
Match up pretty darn close!
The old Hofner knobs like to crack. All the Hofner plastics like to crack after 10-60 years. These fit well enough, match well enough that it is a great item to have available. I used these on a Hofner 1963 Bass, (non club std, cantilever fret board extension bass) Since Hofner used pearloid control panels and black surrounds, only the ivory switches are there to mismatch with the knobs. They are pretty close to matching the knobs! The switches may be a tad darker on the re-issues from 2000 & up. The old 1960s-70s ones are discolored and who knows what color they used to be. For a Cantilevered fret board extension neck German Hofners basses are awesome rock solid light weight instruments. Having nice replacement part from Allparts is great! Now if they could only get those tall pickup rings for the std 63 bass (not the club bass).Reviewed by: Seth Burgin from Arizona. on 12/29/2012
Great deal on a hard-to-find part
This is the knob used on vintage Hofner basses. I have had a hard time finding these in the past, so I am happily surprised to find them here. Perfect for vintage replacement or dressing up a modern violin bass.Reviewed by: Wrongo Starr from Los Angeles. on 5/28/2011 12:13:00 PM
