Generic Electric Guitar Single Strings, Pack of 10 .010
New strings sound like new strings.
New sounds new, and if I can keep new strings on the guitars for $2 who cares who made them. They are not the world's best strings, but I have been known to wear the windings through on the D strings, and a shoe box full of these works just fine for keeping new strings on the electrics. These are also excellent for setting up Floyd Rose trems, and myriad other guitars, for intonation, action, spacing, neck relief etc. Often times I chop them off, put on a new set, and these come with my sestup, as the basic string at the base price. Standard Ernie Ball's will cost $4 extra, and something exotic like nickel $5, or up to $12 for Thomastiks. Custom made sets range from $15 to $40 for pedal steel guitars up to over $1000 for a pedal harp. The only thing I do not like is the wind around the ball ends on the plain strings, but solder fixes that up quick n easy!Reviewed by: Seth Burgin from AZ, CO, NM, UT, WY, TX, CA, MT. on 11/10/2017
