Most metal knobs are for solid shaft potentiometers; these will have a 6.35mm or 1/4 inch measurement. Knobs with a 6mm measurement will fit either the Asian solid shaft pots or the American split shaft pots. Our 0910, 3300, and 3150 series knobs will fit both split and solid shaft pots.
