Why Padauk Bariole?

Padauk Bariolé refers to a visually striking variation of Padauk wood, characterized by its bariolé (variegated) appearance, featuring vivid streaks of red, orange, brown, and occasionally purple. Tonally, it is comparable to maple in brightness but offers greater harmonic richness and midrange complexity. Its higher density also enhances structural integrity, providing improved neck stability and resistance to seasonal changes and warping. As a result, Padauk has gained popularity among luthiers as a distinctive and reliable tone wood choice.

Officially licensed by Fender® and made to exacting quality standards in Japan using Padauk Bariole, this Select series “Vin-Mod” replacement neck offers Strat® fans a compelling blend of vintage and modern specs.  Its 1-piece padauk design will lend an upscale appearance to your guitar while adding warmth and sustain.  With truss rod adjustment at the heel and 2-step vintage tuning key holes, this neck maintains a classic aesthetic.  Combined with a flatter modern 10” fretboard radius and 21 tall/narrow frets, players can expect enhanced comfort, easier string bending and a "best of both worlds" playing experience.
