Nut Rescue is a specially formulated blend designed to effectively fill and lubricate string slots in guitar and bass nuts—while also maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Refined over 25 years in a professional repair shop, this reliable solution is now available for everyone to use.

When originality and efficiency matter, filling and recutting a nut can be a smarter choice than full replacement. Nut Rescue offers a familiar application process—similar to using baking soda or bone dust—but with superior results: improved color matching, long-lasting durability, excellent tone preservation, and built-in lubrication.

Nut Rescue Kit includes three shades to match most nuts:

• Black (Graphite, Ebony, Buffalo)
• Cream (Aged or Natural Bone, Ivory, Tusq)
• Bright (Modern Bleached Bone and Corian)

Why it matters:

When a guitar string is bent, tension is partially transferred from behind the nut—where friction between the string and the nut slot can cause tuning instability. Nut Rescue addresses this issue with its low-friction formula, which is essential for maintaining accurate tuning. Its exceptional durability extends the life of many original nuts, offering years of reliable use. This helps preserve the instrument's originality, minimizes the need for invasive repairs, and saves both time and effort.

Each of the three available colors is formulated to work seamlessly with CA glue (commonly known as super glue, sold separately). The material bonds cleanly without discoloration and comes with an applicator spoon for precise and easy use.

Instructions:

Use the included applicator to fill the slot with Nut Rescue (tamp it down gently)

Touch the slot with a bead of thin superglue (let the glue cure)
