The Tremolo, Reinvented
The patented VT system is based on two key principles: adapting bridge dimensions to fit standard cavities and optimizing the pivoting system. This allows the bridge to smoothly enter guitar body cavities without protruding, making the VT1 the most compact tremolo available.
By changing the pivotal center of action with a fulcrum, movement amplitude is increased and friction minimized, resulting in a noise-free musical performance. Using low friction nuts and locking tuners can further enhance performance.
No Drilling
You're probably aware that traditionally, installing a floating bridge on an ST-style guitar required modifications such as drilling new holes and screwing into the original bridge cavity. That design made even mounting, adjusting, and changing strings a very difficult process.
So, Vega-Trem redesigned everything!
