I bought a used Rickenbacker and the bridge on it was messed up beyond repair. This replacement was a great but not perfect. Compared to the original saddle it appears somewhat cheaper. The finish was not perfect but it does match all the chrome finishing perfectly. My favorite/most hated part of the bridge is the fact that it does not use an allen wrench to adjust the saddles instead a phillips/flat. This is good because I found it is easier to strip and allen saddle vs this one. It''s bad because there are not any small phillips or flats that I could find that would fit in a small space. I looked everywhere trust me. I got around this problem. When it was time to intonate I would detune and remove the bridge. It also comes preslotted which is great however the saddle buzzes. This is bad but not too noticeable and is probably fixable by some filing work. Worked fine on my 610 but I don''t know about other models. Also, kind of silly to include an allen wrench to adjust height but not a phillips that will work for it. However, compared to the price of a rick saddle ($75 insane!) I really can''t gripe.
