For $17 what do you want?
Use the pan, go buy some brass, aluminum or steel round bar stock, and these make a foundation for a fabulous bridge! If you are truly a luthier, you will try brass, zinc, aluminum, steel, copper, bronze, tusq, and even acetyl & nylon plastics for saddles. A drill press a couple of taps and you are in fat city, with a custom bridge no one else can make, but you! I had steel on the wound strings, red brass on the G, and we used a hard yellow brass on the B & treble E strings. Later I tried bronze on the D. AWESOME! Easy to make too! Yes the saddles are a little small, but shim the neck and the break angle improves, vastly, and the bridge is suitable for use, as is, right out of the box!
